AE 1 (original tape) (1987)
When i was about 17 i was fascinated with the idea of generative music. This was my very first attempt to explore it, with the very limited resources at the time - just my first guitar, a digital delay, a volume pedal and an exciting, brand-new 4-track cassette recorder. All the AER pieces had a metronome measuring the tempo for the superimposed note cycles of different lengths.
AER 2 (1988)
Nobody has heard this one before, even for me it was an obscure tape.
AER 3 (1988)
Another unheard piece, recovered from the original 4-track cassette.
AER 4 (original tape) (1987)
This is the version i always felt as most accomplished, and the only one featuring two alternating chords. This is an example of how you record something magic but in poor conditions, and then you set to do it "properly", but you just can't have the same magic again. I like the studio version on the CD, but this old tape has always been my favorite...
AER 5 (1988)
Unlike the other AER pieces, AER 5 only has 3 tracks.
