About the store

I wanted to provide a full, detailed, well organized catalog while at the same time i put in practice a model of distributing music that seems to be in tune with the future - that of paying a small fee for unlimited access to music. Music is not free, it takes a lot of hard work, time and energy, not to mention money, to put it out. To have all this music available as it is here was a considerable effort and has hosting costs. So your subscription makes a difference. I thank you for supporting the effort i continue making to share music with you. I also thank you for not uploading it somewhere else. The Online Store has two catalogs:

 

 

RECORDS CATALOG

mp3 encodings of the entire Rafael Toral released discography, from the early drone guitar records to the Space Program. Records are sold individually for €1.99 each. In some cases, records are bundled with unreleased tracks, usually belonging to the same sessions.

 

 

SUBSCRIBER CATALOG

"Albums" of previously unreleased studio and live recordings, compilation tracks, or otherwise rare recordings. These downloads are free for subscribers. Subscription costs only €11.99 per year.  

 

These "albums" are open - at any moment new tracks can be uploaded for any given album, becoming (ir)regularly updated. New uploads will be announced in the news page and its RSS feed.

 

What makes an album, besides the cover, is the mp3 Album tag, so the album tracks will show up in your player sorted as such. These recordings are available exclusively here at this digital-only store.

 

 

About Downloads

RECORDS:

You may download Records in 2 ways:

• From the direct links on an email the system sends you. Those links will expire after you use them.
• From your user account page at the website. When you login, you'll see a "Files" tab where your files are.

 

You'll have a limit of two downloads (just in case something goes wrong), you can download from two IP addresses, during two weeks.

 

SUBSCRIBER:

If you're not a subscriber, even if you're logged in you'll see grey Download buttons which will take you to the subscribe page.

If you're logged in and subscribed, the same buttons will turn blue and will get downloads started.

 

You can freely download every file on the SUBSCRIBER CATALOG for one year from your subscription date. This includes all the future updates and new releases during that time. You can download from two IP addresses. Subscriptions can be renewed. 

 

 

About the audio files

Most files on Noise Precision Library Online Store have been prepared for maximum quality: remastered at 24 bits, specifically for mp3, and encoded at 320 kbit/s. Where available, the mp3's were made from the original 24-bit masters, not the CDs, which also applies to vinyl-only releases. Some of the earlier records actually sound better here than their originals. However, unfortunately, in many instances Space Program's sharp attacks can't be faithfully represented by this kind of compressed file.

 

 

How payment works

Payment is securely handled by Paypal in a fully automated process. Your card details or Paypal account are exclusively dealt with at Paypal, never entering rafaeltoral.net.

Records and Subscriptions are added to the shopping cart. At checkout, you'll be directed to Paypal website, where you can use your Paypal account, a credit card, or other options. An email is automatically sent to you with direct file download links for Records. After paying for a subscription you will automatically gain access to the downloads.

 

In both cases you'll also receive a receipt email from Paypal confirming your payment.

 

If your currency is not Euro, your payment will be converted and accepted. Please contact the Store if you find any issues.
